• Introduction of Tribology Laboratory at Kanazawa University.

  This Tribology Laboratory is established in 1983 in the Department of Precision Engineering, Faculty of Engineering ,Kanazawa University. In Japanese Universities this Laboratory named JTribology is the first and foremost laboratory officially recognized by the Ministry of Education in Japan.
  Main researches carrying out are as follows
  

  • Friction and wear mechanisms of rubber.
  • Wear mechanism of polymeric materials.
  • Mechanism of solid lubrication.

• In the Tribology Laboratory there are useful equipments listed as follows
  • Tribometers
    (pin-on-disk type, pin-on-cylinder type, pin-on-plate type, etc.)
  • Profilometers.
