VISUAL PHENOMENA AND THE MECHANISMS: How and in what way Vision can see the world?

 

DE-COMPOSITION AND RE-CONSTRUCTION OF VISUAL INFORMAION: Visual world consists of various kind of visual information, such as luminance edges, color, textures,binocular disparity, motion etc. How the visual system extract such informations, and how the system integrate the informaions to implement our "rigid" visual image.

 

FUNCTIONAL ROLES OF NEURONS ON VISUAL PATHWAYS: How the neurons make our perception possible?

 

SPACE PERCEPTION AND OBJECT RECOGNITION: Even if vision can "project" the world in the brain, we need to match/compare/consult it to our memory/knowledge, or guess, to understand what it is. How are they done?
